I am excited to see my friend and our deaf-blind friends open their stocking gift bags on Christmas day! My friend and I went shopping together yesterday and finished up the gifts. I wouldn't have been able to do such an awesome job without my friend A's help. I feel so thankful that I have met A. She is a neat person who I admire and she doesn't let me close up into my shell even when I try lol. She is stubborn like me so she doesn't let me try to build up any walls. She finds a way to end up with me in the wall I build up, then she helps break it down by just being herself and making me laugh and feel like myself. I feel grateful to have a friend like her. I feel if someone is putting so much effort to be a friend and put up with my stubbornness, that I must be worth it to her, to others and to myself
