Triggering movies and books

Post by strmdncr » Wed Jun 24, 2009 10:06 am

Hi all,

Well I've decided to edit this thread a little bit. It's purpose is to put together a list of books, movies and TV shows that people have found triggering.
I absolutely appreciate everyones input and so I am going to do what I can to keep this up to date as people provide new information.
I may accidently put something under the wrong heading, my apologies if I do. If you have any suggestions about other ways to make it better feel free to send me a pm and I'll do what I can.

Bloodletting, can't remember the author. A book on SI, though.

I find I can't watch anything even remotely bloody on bad days, so I try and avoid anything like that when I'm upset. Not overly helpful for the list, though.

Burn Notice Season Three; SI. It's not so much SI subject matter (the motives are totally different), but the visuals.

Thank you for the list! Definitely stay away from Saw movies!! I believe Saw IV also contains SI. The book Crying Scarlet Tears by Sophie Scott can also be triggering.
This too shall pass :)
