I didn't have time, I had too much studying left to do and not nearly enough time to do it in. Plus I'm trying really hard to break this cycle.

Consequences, consequences, consequences!

My T. would have a fit. I would be caught up in it and not be able to think of much else. More stupid scars to worry about come summer. Cuts on Christmas - I've had enough of that in the past, who wants that?

And my husband in a moment of sweetness and caring - yes , it does happen  , told me that no one, noone wants me to have to cut - him, my T., my family, my aquaintences - no one. He said, some day I will catch up to them and I won't want to either. And I believe he is right.
"We think the point is to pass the test or overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don't really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. The healing comes from letting there be room for it all to happen: Room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy." Pema Chodron

I've already had a slip...if it's going to stay a slip I can't let myself slip any further
...then one day I realised that the people you see in waiting rooms and car parks and on trains are really far more interesting. That they all have whole novels inside them, a fabric of scar tissues, photos and memories. They are comedies and tragedies and - more often - both at the same time.
