I am awesome because...

One of my coping skills is that I think of a way that I am awesome. When you find a reason why you’re awesome, you become a lot less depressed because you prove to yourself that you are, in fact, and awesome person.

So I invite everyone to share a reason why they are so awesome. It doesn’t have to be anything big or impressive, just a reason why you’re awesome. It can be a talent, story, education, job, art, or weird eccentricity, pretty much everything goes as long as it’s in reason and the rules.

I am awesome because I can play Vanessa Carlton’s 1000 Miles without knowing how to read music, or play any other piano piece. What is even more awesome is that I have a sister who taught me how, note by note. I impress people when bust it out whenever I sit down at a piano. Even though I'm a pure metalhead, there is something about her music that does it for me.

I'm awesome today because I got complimented on my excellent hygene when I went to the hygenist this morning for my quarterly cleaning! I'm in braces and it is awesome to get complimented for having clean teeth, despite having a powerchain and bite turbos
