oh, I wish I knew of something that would help. :( Have you searched online or thru a library or anything for any type of self help websites or self help books there might be? I remember reading a long time ago about how to use certain techniques that help keep your thinking reality based and how to dispell dellusional thinking, etc., it was like sets of questions to ask yourself, but I can't remember now what it was or where I read it, it was so long ago. :( Just don't know what to say except I hope you'll stay strong and keep yourself safe and don't give up researching for the answers your looking for.

You could consider seeing a Social Worker. Just because someone doesn't have a PhD, it doesn't mean they won't be able to help you. Just search on google for "find a social worker" and some agencies/databases should pop up with profiles of various people and their specializations.

I second the recommendation of a LCSW (social worker) or even a post doc. Some work on sliding scales so they would charge what you can afford.

also if you go to google.com and type in sliding scale therapists

MOST IMPORTANT- ask to interview them, ask for sliding scale fee
