I didn't SI during my migraine. I'm still being productive even though I'm in a lot of residual pain.

Because I did all my study for the week, my reading is on schedule, and I can have a nice evening out tomorrow and a weekend without the stress of being behind.

Because, somehow, I seem to have got a grip on life.

I don't know you, but I have to say that I'm proud of you for being able to be productive after having a migraine. I get them and I tend to sleep for days.

Thanks! I used to sleep for days - but then I had 6 months of daily migraines and since then I'm able to buck up and handle it when I get one. Probably because I know (or have hope at least) that it won't ever get that bad again. I just adjust my expectations for my productivity in the days after one. Thanks for the encouragement! :D

We are the girls with anxiety disorders, filled appointment books, five-year plans. We take ourselves very, very seriously. We are the peacemakers, the do-gooders, the givers, the savers. We are on time, overly prepared, well read, and witty, intellectually curious, always moving… We drink coffee, a lot of it. We are on birth control, Prozac, and multivitamins… We are relentless, judgmental with ourselves, and forgiving to others. We are the daughters of the feminists who said, “You can be anything,” and we heard, “You have to be everything." - Courtney Martin.

I am not letting myself get overwhelmed with the confusing stuff I have to do before the apartment gets sprayed for bugs.
