I am proud of myself today because...

I finally had enough motivation to actually change out of my pj's.
I also tidied up my room a little bit.

I could talk on the phone with Q without freaking. I think my phobia is only applicable when I am the one to call.

I was extremely helpful at the crew cleanup when most of the other girls were being whiny bitches. How am I going to lead these girls this year as captain? I don't know. But at least I can be helpful and attentive.

I worked hard today at work.

I still haven't self-destructed.

I went from wanting to quit my job and sell my apartment and become a carny to not wanting to do those things

I'm proud of myself because I got up and went to work when I really wanted to stay in bed all day.

I'm proud because a resident said that I was her ray of sunshine and I made her feel great when I smiled at her...I never thought I meant that much to people.

i wanted to drink to deal with my feelings tonight, but i recognized that would be a really bad pattern to start with all the stress with my son - for me to start drinking to deal with it. i've heard a lot of people who consider themselves to be alcoholics said they were able to drink "normally" for years, and then something happened, and they lost control. so i chose not to drink even though i just wanted something to make me forget my pain atm.
