Hi again.
I have something to confess...
I promised myself to be honest in this forum but I've been lying to you for some time.
*
SI
*
In fact I slipped on the 18th day. I came back home after my exams were over and everything started again...
Problems as ever... My parents keep fighting and my mum run away from home. I couldn't stand it and slit my wrists once again...
Sorry.
*
SI
*
But I haven't done it since then.
I was so happy with all your support... and I really didn't want to disappoint you. I wish these 32 days were real! But anyway I improved my personal best with one day - 2 weeks 4 days now!
Nothing to be proud of anyway...
I don't want to post about anything negative... I hate it when I'm complaining... I wish everything was different... I wish I didn't need to post here.
Sorry once again...
Thank you all... I really need your help.

you dont have to be sorry. everyone slips, i have loads of times. dont worry its good that you are being honest.
2 weeks and 4 days is a good time to go without SIing, you should be proud of that. sometimes when you take 3 steps forward you have to take 1 step back.

we all slip up, but what's good is that even though you slipped up, you didn't just give up and you carried on fighting...that's even more of a achievement.
so no saying sorry :)

slipping is part of the process and without slipping you would never know how far you come and you can always pick up and gain the ground you lost. I am at 26 day and counting but I know that slip or gain I am on the right track and that what I rejoice in that I am finding a better me.

YOu can do it! Just think of all the energy coming to you and all the people here in this place when you are feeling bad. It hard I know.

I have 29 days SI free and I still hope everyday I will not. Everyday I could but I choose not to. It is a choice, a hard one but still a choice.

Hope this help just a little and know if you can't choose to not we are still here for you always.

Peace and strength,
Reachingout

Hello again!
I'm 4 days SI-free now...
:)
I'll keep on trying...
It's worth trying... Perhaps it really doesn't matter how many times one falls, as long as one can stand up and fight again...
Love you all! :1hug3:

Do what I do when I feel I can resist--

In each hand, hold an icecube. Hold them tightly, until they completely melt. Concentrate on the pain. It hurts, yes, but it's only an icecube. I've tried that trick many times, and most of the time it works. Since it takes five minutes for it to melt, I sometimes forget why I was so angry.

everyone slips. it's a fact of recovery.
there is, in the end, the letting go.

By the way, now I have a henna tatoo on my left hand (where I used to cut) and I feel better! It's getting a bit lighter, but I think I may try to redraw it once or twice in week - it seems a kind of ritual too... I'm looking up for a henna recipe right now:)
