BUSoholics Anonymous... or Not-So-Anonymous....

Post by the edge of the world » Tue Dec 12, 2006 6:27 am

former title of this thread: BUS Addiction - please ideas? help?

unedited post:
Please, please, please... I am way too addicted to BUS. I need to use the internet, but I impulsively type this address between all of my homework or open it in another window just to see it, to see if anyone has replied, etc. :o I need to do college apps. And homework! Any ideas?

Oh, and twist being that I feel like I need BUS to stay calm when I'm stressed. The more behind I am, the more I feel I need BUS, the less I get done, the more behind I become... :-?

Not like I could just leave... I have friends here.

idk

---

Edited because I'm weird and wanted to changed the title... because I was bored, or something. And to be more welcoming my fellow BUSoholics :wavey:

And I thought the poll... idk.. :D again, bored... or procrastinating on my 4 college applications due tomorrow, none of which are done...

I do an assignment, read five posts. Rinse. Repeat. When I am being really bad, I only log in on Fridays. During exams, I'm here all the time, because I am a terrible procrastinator. So I don't recommend that, but everything else has helped me in the past. Remember too, bus will be here when your done. I've also used buddy type systems for support with school work. That helps. :)

I have an internet addiction. No joke. I have a huge Chem final tomorrow. Today I've been online and I've slept.

I tried to study...but...

It didn't work out. Hahaha. I have no idea how NOT to be online.
trying to follow in the footsteps of the masters,
but it's a lot harder than it looks because even though
they had the same size feet as us, they weren't looking
down the whole time while they walked to make sure
they were doing it right.

While we're at it...

I'm Kathy, and I'm a BUSaholic too.

I have a hard time resisting the temptation to log on to BUS. When I am here, I find it very difficult to log off.

Patiently awaits BUSaholic thread.

i'm a BUSoholic & I haven't got the internet at home, which can get tricky! the internet cafes on Wilmslow Road do very well out of my habit...

...& at the moment I'm staying in my parents' house & they don't know about BUS. I'm 25 and I feel like a teenager looking at the porn...

...then one day I realised that the people you see in waiting rooms and car parks and on trains are really far more interesting. That they all have whole novels inside them, a fabric of scar tissues, photos and memories. They are comedies and tragedies and - more often - both at the same time.
