ok these are my main symptoms that i REALLY could need advice with
one...my depression is always there...hidden...then after a few weeks things get me more down and i do have some coping skills that i use (including SI) which i haven't been SIing nearly as much as i used too...but then there gets to the point where i can't cope anymore...i end up SEVERLY DEPRESSED....then SU and try something crazy....I HATE THIS DAMN CYCLE!!!!!
second...i have extreme emotional reactions and get triggered a lot with my Borderline Personality D/O....so when something REALLY agitates me i react without thinking and in that split second i put myself in EXTREME danger (SU things) without realizing it until the police or ambulance come and then i am out of it and realize the consequences (like death, or my bf and family, friends grief if something really bad happened to me)....
so how do i deal with BOTH??????.......

think of some plans to put into place when you get that far down?
for the depression:
when you get to the point that you can't cope anymore, or you recognize that you are getting to that place, could you possibly put some plans in place, like a person you can call, an activity you can do, a place that you can go that will get you out of your head for a few hours?
for the extreme emotional reactions: you've identified your triggers -- can you come up with a plan that would make the triggers easier to deal with? Could you give yourself a code word that you say to calm yourself down or find a way to get out of the situation or thought?
