Because exactly a year ago, me and my boyfriend broke up and I wanted to die. I was doing coke and abusing prescription pills and doing everything I could to just die.

And I'm still alive, I'm proud of myself for getitng help, for stopping drugs and drinking, for going to school.

For having Sarah, and Hunter (well, he's on the way)

I'm proud that I made it through.

Most of the time I feel like I don't belong.
But I got my new favorite record today.
My favorites change every single day.
Except you,
You'll always be number one.

because I got up this morning after a truly awful night.

I ate a bowl of mixed cereal (so I didn't know the EXACT fat and kcals)
I ate normal bread rather than recude calorie
I ate reduced fat chips which weren't weighed out kg for kg
I had a regular soda when they ran out of diet rather than going thirsty
I went to the health and safety induction of my new job

my university statistics professor nominated me for an award due to my high academic achievement in my math and analytical skills.

so i got a letter from the university and an award.

part of the letter said something along the lines of achieving a high grade takes hard work and effort, and isnt easy to achieve.

yet i achieved it.

I'm proud of myself because I've been just about 3 months SI free, I haven't been depressed in a while, I haven't had urges in a while.

I also have been honest with my therapist, and I haven't been overly angry at anyone. I spoke to someone I wouldn't normally speak to, overcoming my shy-ness. I've realized just how much I miss him, and haven't fallen for anyone else.

:)

They go and they come
But the stars and the stillness
Are always at home.

:star: Interacted with the children SO much better than I managed yesterday and in a more connected way
:star: Because I feel like i'm claiming back small steps to independance
