My sponsor from AA was trying to help me come up with some kind of substitute for cutting, something I can do to keep from doing it. She suggested popping rubberbands on my arm, I've tried that and it doesn't work. I've tried writing on myself with a red marker, all it does is trigger me more, I've tried holding the ice cube in my hand until it melts, that doesn't work either. Cutting paper with a knife or razorblade used to work and then it stopped working, maybe I should try that one again and see if it'll work now...

i know this is really weird but -
i used to tweeze hairs from the place i wanted to cut. it would really distract me and had a tiny amount of sharp pain for me to concentrate on.
i know, i know, it's beyond bizarre.......
