I'm new and need help

hello my name is brittany and i am currently recoving from SI and trying to find ways to help me get better and to stop doing what i do! i was wondering if anyone wanted to talk about anything or had and suggestions on trying to help me on my way to success? :D
cutting is addicting but you have to get help..it will truly help your life out more..

There are tons of good ideas in the "scarily vast list of coping strategies" that can help when you are trying to handle different emotions.
Sometimes it helps to look at when you SI, what triggers it, and what you gain from it. There are some questions in the Before and After forum that can help you look at that too...
I don't know if you have help IRL or not, but for some people, therapy or medications or both can be very helpful.

that's good u are in recovery from SI...i still struggle...so i don't know if i can help...

stuff that do help me:
taking a nap
reading a book
talking to someone
playing an online game
praying
art
music

etc

You should definately check out the sourcebook here on bus. There are all sorts of awesome topics there that are very helpful.
