haven't been here awhile, since feeling too depressed and when i am, i am not proud of anything...

anyways, i am proud of myself yesterday....i took a writing exam (part of my program)...and i think i did a good ob...had to respond to an article i read before, and then type on the computer for an hour an essay....i don't find out the results til like a few months

I'm proud of myself because I didn't SI or skip school.
I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing
sleep can't hide the thoughts splitting through my mind
shadows aren't clean, false mirrors, too many people awake
if you stand up like a nail then you will be knocked down
I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else

because I put myself first had a nice meal out with my friends but then came home when they all went clubbing as I know that was what was best for me.

Im proud of myself because;
I am being positive about something I messed up
I did a great job the last 3 nights stage manging my school panto
I told my friend that I was mad with her and then sorted it out
I finally admitted that sometimes I hate my mum

But mostly, because

Yesterday I allowed myself to cry for such a long time!
The wind and I, we speak the same, but he don’t hear so well.
Well, you’re gonna have to curse him, well you’re gonna have to yell.
The sky and I, we’ve had our fights and I’m coming round to rain,

I'm proud of myself today b/c last night I went to a party and went out of my way to be social and make friends -- instead of staying home alone and surfing the internet all night. :)
