I took the initiative the other day to go two doors over to our neighbors house because her grandkids were out and I have little kids who wanted to play. I'd never been over there before, except walking past. She came onto her porch with me and we talked for 2 HOURS! She brought up having anxiety and I told her I did and we went on and on about our antidepressants, about OCD, about depression and why, about my SI, about her depressions. It was so wonderful to have someone to talk to who won't judge because you have the same issues and won't get scared away or think you're a nut.
It's kind of like the bus, but in person. I was thinking today that the bus is kind of like Girl Interrupted, where we're all together for the same thing and same goal (hopefully).
Just wanted to share my expericence with you all. There IS light....
light at the end of the tunnel?
