All that I'll ever ruin
You can always cover it with makeup
somedays he feels like dying
she gets so sick of crying

Yes there's lots of info on scars around BUS. If you look at the Sourcebook Contents Page it lists quite a few threads that will help.
Um, feel embarrassed plugging my own site but I recently added a page all about scars, it's here.

There are a lot of ways of covering scars. I'm going to list a few here - I haven't checked the links so I may just repeat a whole lot.
1. cover with clothes (this is the most obvious and most used method)
2. wrists and arms or ankles - wear bracelets
3. use vit E cream
4. sometimes base can be used to hide some scars (make up) but matching tones can be hard to get
5. cover with a bandage and make up a story about why you are bandaged (I'm not so keen on this method but anyway)
6. get a tattoo over a scar - only old scars
7. wear scar reduction patches to decrease the redness of a scar
Thats about all I can think of right now for hiding scars.

if it's warm out and you want to wear a tank top or short sleeves so as not to look suspicious and it's arm scars you're worried about, try cutting the feet out of socks or cutting the legs off of tights and making hand/finger holes. you can wear one or two and look cool and DIY punk...and still get away with wearing short sleeves...
good luck!

outside a dog, a book is man's best friend. inside a dog it's too dark to read.
you can find sights on the internet that sell really cool arm warmers if you just do a search and take the time to browse through sites. Leg warmers can also be used as arm warmers without a thumb hole, or you can make a thumb hole...
or if your scars are limited to just the wrist area, you can by sweatbands for the wrist and they easily cover up scars...I wear them to had a really nasty scar that I have.
