Trigs?

Just a question about self control. Do you have much self control? In rushed situations or situations of panic can you control your actions?

Yeah, it does make sense, I think it's the same with me, but I do have quite a lot of self control. I put "it depends on the situation", I think.

I put that it depends on the situation, though it depends on my mood too. My main way of coping and trying not to SI is simple will power. Sometimes that's enough, but a lot of the time it fails and I really beat myself up about it.

I have quite a lot of issues with control. I hate feeling out of control and strive for control in anything I can. I can control myself in some ways expertly, like in how I SI, but in other ways I'm totally out of control, and sometimes things like SI, implemented for control, can become what control me.
I want an arm that doesn't bleed...
Instead of crawling on my knees and feeling scared
Won't back down- Kato

With you I'm washed as white as the snow
And all crimson stain becomes just a shadow
You know I would be blind without you
So light up my way to find my way home again
All the way- Delerious?

Heard of me the routine scar
New cuts cover where the old ones are
I can't stand the sandpaper thoughts that grade away on my sanity
Cut myself free willingly through
Stop just what's killing me

I have a great amount of self-control over my actions, but none over my thoughts.

Does ANYBODY have control ever their thoughts?

I have self-control. I'm very much of a control freak and trying to learn to let go a little and relax...
Without SI since Nov 6, 2004.

for a diff opinion... :) i don't think i have much self-control. i put "depends on my mood" cos some moods i can control myself and some i can't.
thoughts ARE mostly out of my control but how you react to the thoughts in your head or whatever is important (like thinking about something a lot and blowing it out of proportion)
