Re: Secrets Thread - Read first post!

Several years ago I was in a treatment facility that was so bad, so abusive, that I cried myself to sleep every night and prayed that the police would come and rescue me and put me in jail if I wasn't stable enough to be safe on my own. Now, sometimes I become gripped with the fear that my prayer wi...

Re: On "Feeling" Fat [ED]

That was a great read!

I'm coming into this thread late and so am going to ignore the above conversation.

"I feel fat" are the words I have been using lately to say "I believe I AM fat".

This is new for me, because it is a sudden weight gain caused by medication. That leaves me feeling.....scared.

I just wanted you to hold my hand, hold my arm, touch me. I would have been okay. I wouldn't have needed to be tranquilized.

OT: Web board hackers

This is kind of OT, but I just discovered through google that the karate school I go to used to have a website (site has since changed) that had a web board of the exact same style of this one. Apparently somehow it was hacked and is currently being used for massive porn-related posts. Unfortunately...

I don't think it's my computer . . . though I don't know for sure. I wonder if there's some kind of glitch in BUS doing this? It's weird. Yeah, you're right. There'd be flames shooting out of my ears if I had to log on every 10 minutes. I don't think I could do it. I am at least grateful I don't hav...

Automatic logout?

 For some reason when I turned on my computer and went to BUS, I found I was logged off and had to re-set my password because it didn't accept the one previously stored. I am set to be logged on automatically so I don't have to worry about it. This has happened to me once before, about 6 month...

Yeah, I'm scared to logout since I don't have the password to log back in.

Could I ask a favor and get an admin to manually reset it for me? My email is the same that I registered with.

Thanks,

Nazgul

Forgotten password

Hi I want to log on onto a different computer so I can print some of the stuff I've posted (I typically use my laptop) . . . problem is I've been logged onto my screenname for months now and I don't remember my password. Help?

What helps you cope with SU feelings?

'K right now I'm feeling SU, and I was wondering, how do people make their way through this without having to go IP? In the past I've always ended up IP and I want this time to be different.

oh wow I thought I was the only one who used them instead of SI. (only it doesn't always work  )

I'm terrible at them though, I'm on like number fifteen and my mom has done over 60 of them! She's a math whiz though, I never seemed to pick up that gene.

^ I agree with katja bipolar medications can have a lot of negative side-effects, which would be even worse if you don't have bipolar. A bipolar diagnosis will follow you the rest of your life, so you want to make certain it is the right diagnosis before your doc gives it to you. Self-diagnosis in t...

if you do have Bipolar, yes meds DO help, A LOT. I have Bipolar Type II-depressed, and take a concoction of 5 different medications plus two sleep medications. Most people can take significantly fewer pills than I do, but it is all in finding the right medication combination. It can keep you out of ...
