Dissociation/depersonalization

Can anyone who suffers (or otherwise know about them) from these symptoms tell me about them and how they cope with them personally?

Re: the egg questionaire

:star: What motivates you to try a coping thing instead of si'ing? Not wishing to hurt my parent.s :star: If you had to move twice to cope i.e. move your body, what would you do? Get a book, take a walk. :star: It's three o'clock in the afternoon and you want to si, what can you do instead? Read. :...

I have a great amount of self-control over my actions, but none over my thoughts.

Are you actually going to sleep earlier on the meds or do you still try and stay up?

If you are going to bed at a normal time and still wake up tired, perhaps the dose is too strong. You could try taking half a dose or looking for a pill that weaker.

Hope it all works out for you either way.

So something about me must be positive. Ha ha! Logic! I found that once if I stepped outside my mind for awhile and faced it...

I am becoming closer to the person I want to be because of it. However, this doesn't make my self-injury decrease. It seems I am always finding new mistakes to make. When I make a mistake, I won't even know until later, maybe days afterwards, if it warrents harming myself to correct. Sometimes thoug...

Before

I know I am new here and haven't given anyone else help, so excuse my brazenness. Why do I feel I need to hurt myself? What has brought me to this point? I feel terribly guilty about a great many things that I have done since the last time I cut. I also feel guilty about wanting to cut. I need retri...
