Re: Passwords?!?!

Thanks guys. Yeah I have two different words plus numbers that I usually use but they're 6 or 9 characters long. I never use capital letters. Even just now it took me three tries to log in before I remembered the capital letter thing. I guess it's mostly frustrating because my old password just stop...

Passwords?!?!

What's the deal with passwords? I couldn't log in the other day so I reset my password and then found I couldn't log in again. Now I find to change my password it has to be TEN characters long with mixed case. Now, I have several default passwords - they are 6 characters and 9 characters long. I gua...

Re: links in notifications aren'T working?

I PM'd Deb too, she hasn't read it yet but all good.

Not a huge issue, just a minor inconvenience that I can live with. More wanted to let you guys know it's happening.

Re: links in notifications aren'T working?

This is still happening. I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to the topics but it had no effect.

Could someone please look into this? It seems no-one has looked at this thread. Maybe I should PM a mod/admin.

Is no-one else finding this?

Re: links in notifications aren'T working?

I didn't have a time when the links stopped working entirely, but the link which used to take you to 'next unseen post' now takes me to some random page. On some threads that's a significant number of pages back and on others it's only one or two pages back. It's like it's taking me to what was an u...

Firefox. I wonder if it has to do with me opening multiple threads all at once. I use tabbed browsing to open all the place threads I get email notifications for. Usually I can open one, and then the second one asks me to log in. But sometimes I can open them all without logging in. Seems very random.

Remember me

Hey

When I used the 'watched topics' links in emails, I open a whole bunch of threads at once (yay tabbed browsing!)

Anyway, sometimes I get asked to Login, even though I always tick the "remember me" box....

So um...remember me seems to be broken.

Yah, when the posts run over so that there *is* a new page, then it reasserts it's normalcy :D

I see the arguments for and against this. The arguments against are more in relation to "how to we continue to manage such a growing board" and "does this further segregate us". Shouldn't the question more be related to "how will this in any way help BUS members?". And I don't know the answer to tha...

I would like to join those applauding you for recognising this tendency in yourself. I can't say I know how to fix it, but would like to caution you against going the other direction and always, like myself, blaming yourself for everything regardless of how realistic that may be. Perhaps you could s...

I have twice now had to re-select the "Watch this topic for replies" on my place thread. For some reason it keeps deciding to turn itself off.

Email notifications

For a few hours today the email notifications were putting the thread title in the subject. Now they've stopped again. That was really cool - can we have it back? :)
