img tag in sig doesn't work anymore?

Hi, I just attempted to update my signature with a new image. I typed in <img src="..."/> and saved (with my image instead of the ...) but every time i save, the image tag is saved as simply <img> . I thought maybe i had a syntax error, and also tried <img src="...">, but i've checked many times and...

hi whoamianymore, if your friend's mother has a hunch that something might be going on, then she is putting both your friend and you in danger, knowingly, which is irresponsible of her. i know you said you can't tell anyone, but i really think that you should reconsider. the grandfather may have don...

hi tara, what about picking up a new hobby - something you do with your hands? i've mentioned knitting other places on the board before. knitting helps me because it forces me to concentrate, but it's repetative so it isn't really frustrating. i like that it keeps my hands busy. when i don't knit, i...

Drew my X again. Had to move the location down a bit since my cousin's puppy scratched me a bit where I usually draw it. It's been a hard few days. I'm glad I started this thread though. Knowing why the drawing helps makes it work a little better. :aard: an aardvark. for no reason. i'll name him ber...

Wow, really interesting insights from everyone. I can definitely relate to "reclaiming your body". Now that I haven't re-drawn my "X" in a few days, when I look at that spot, it seems bare. I have my class again tonight, but I feel a little more relaxed today. It's good to know though, that I have a...

Drawing on yourself?

Does anyone else get comfort from drawing on yourself? I was having a really frustrating time in class on monday night. I felt really really wound up and tense. I was clenching my hands, grinding my teeth. I ended up drawing a black X on my thumb and it was very comforting. I've actually ended up re...

Oops, I probaly should have put this in "coping", but thanks morganbellamy and Seradjernie for replying! I guess I know now what I'm going to ask for for Christmas :) Usually I listen to a variety of music in my car but over the last month I haven't switched off the classical station (grew up with c...

What do you do when you feel triggered, but trapped?

This past weekend I was "stuck" in a car with mr. artichoke and his dad. I was in the back seat sort of dozing on and off, but ended up listening in on their conversation which, over time, definitely triggered me. I started feeling panicky - like that increased heart rate / flushed feeling, and I ma...

I didn't because I took a REALLY deep breath, told my self "This too shall pass" and let the wave crash over me. Once things stopped swirling, I was okay. Well, relatively okay.
