Rethink: A Really Good Website

Whilst browsing the interent today, I came across Rethink (http://www.rethink.org/index.html). It is about mental illnesses, self-harm - it has everything. Just look around it, it has a lot of useful stuff. Enjoy! Tip: It's quite hard to navigate around. For general information, when the home page c...

Ask them if they can not have drink. I think that if you are seriously worried, maybe you should just go to a movie with your boyfriend or something? He'll understand. Tell them that you're not up to a party and drinking and if they persist it may be an option to tell them. But I advise that you go ...

Sometimes I go to the school nurse, or tell a teacher that I am feeling bad.

The thing is, I am more likely to SI at home than I am at school...

Thanks!! The breathing thing really does work; my friend told me try it cos I called her up when I was in a really bad state and it is so good for calming down (because I often hyperventilate, get hysterical, etc, whenI cry, and have trouble breathing because I get seriously out of hand). Thanks! Lo...

Thankyou so much! Loads of those have worked for me before, and I might try them again next time I get an urge.
Can I add another?
:star: Get a potato and just cut through it with a BLUNT object.

Can I have a recipe for dough? Mine is really bad :S Lol.
Thanks!!

I know that I have been told this and not done anything: but, never the less, I think you should tell your problems because you don't want a problem to start developing.

Good luck! Try not to SI again!

Scars...

I don't SI any more, but I used to. I only did properly twice, and it was ages ago. But I scratched: which leaves huge marks. Willl they ever fade? There's one on each arm so I can't wear any short sleeved t-shirts and if I do I have to wear a jumper. I don't SI anymore and I certainly do not plan t...

It's the same with me. The cold, rainy days make everything worse. I'm going to make a list too, but I don't know if I'll keep it up long; I give in very easily... :bluestar: Go out when I'm not at school, even if it's on my own. :bluestar: Help with the washing, tidying up and things like that to t...

It doesn't matter how many times you've SI'd, even an urge is serious. I have'nt even SI'd very much but BUS is really good. That's what I thought when I first joined: why am I here I don't SI much? But now I've learnt that even the smallest cut is dangerous. Aanyway, hope things are OK. Good luck, ...
