I do that when I get in a rage, keeps me from punching the wall and causing any damage (to the wall or myself)... doesn't really help with the SI though.

My sponsor from AA was trying to help me come up with some kind of substitute for cutting, something I can do to keep from doing it. She suggested popping rubberbands on my arm, I've tried that and it doesn't work. I've tried writing on myself with a red marker, all it does is trigger me more, I've ...

I just wanted you to know you're not alone. I don't really have any advice on how to stop. Burning used to give me a "high" feeling for a minute and it doesn't do that anymore because I've been doing it so often. And I always regret the burning more than the cutting because it leaves worse scars and...
