Re: New Computer

If you just want to browse the internet/use email that kind of thing have you considered a netbook? I have a little netbook that I use all the time and I love it. It was cheap (around $200) it's light weight, very portible and does everything I need just fine (admitably my needs are pretty simple, I...

A stupid boy (<--- yes, I am aware that this is utterly ridiculous)
Not ridiculous, just human. Much of the world's grief is over stupid boys/girls. Just the nature of life. I hope you are able to get through these urges.

Sleep is good, I find that urges often disappate by morning.

Is there anything like a transitional activity between now and sleeping you could do to relax you a bit before going to sleep? Piano playing sounded like a good choice, or a long shower? or some herbal tea? Something you find soothing and/or relaxing? Anxiety is almost always what leads me to be tem...

If the relief lasts as long as the injury, do you ever find that SI 'replacements' ever help e.g. squeezing ice-cubes, snapping elastic bands? You know I kind of forgot about those, I haven't tried them in a long time, I'll try that next time the urge is strong. Thanks for the suggestion. It sounds...

how will this situation or feeling change if i hurt myself? I hope I will feel less anxious. I will stop urging. I will have new cuts to hide just when the weather is warming up. I will have new scars to cover when we go back to visit my family. what will hurting myself bring to the situation? what...

THat would change the situation in that i would not feel relief, i would not sleep well, and i would not be able to concentrate tomorrow. Is there absolutely no other thing that will bring you either a bit of relief or help you to sleep (but be safe, of course)? What helps you sleep? A warm bath? S...

http://www.earthhenna.com/Henna-Body-Painting-Kits-c7.html?EARTHENN=e2jnf0uqmfsqs4knnom8rrtbq4 I've used the kid's kit from these guys. (a friend who does henna gave it to me to use with my daughter, it's fairly cheap and it was really easy.) I've seen kits at art and craft stores and health food s...

I want a clean, beautiful wrist. I envy others' wrists. That's also pretty sad. Plus, next week is the swimming unit. If I SI, whether on my arm or leg (will wear shorts, though), people may see... I see that you want to maintain your healed up wrists and not have new cuts on yourself for the swim ...

I know I'll regret it tomorrow, though, and the urges will be stronger. Whenever I give in, the urges return even stronger. What will I do then? I'll probably break down and talk to my friends, even though that's what I'm trying to avoid right now. If the end result is that you will most likely end...

I've been dealing with health issues and fighting with my doctors to get proper care, I had to email my doctor numerous times trying to be taken seriously. I got really depressed today anyway and can't really place why (could be related to health stuff I've been going through). I can really relate ...

Hi, thank you very much for your reply. I think you are onto something with the idea of mourning. I've had MS for about 15 years but was just dxed at the end of October. (They thought I had a couple of other things.) I think I held it together pretty well when I was first dxed and then it was the ho...

how will this situation or feeling change if i hurt myself? It won't change much other than I'll stop obsessing about hurting myself. It will probably make me more likely to cut the next time because what would I have to lose. I don't want to get into that cycle again. what will hurting myself brin...

That last question (oh second to last I guess) really helped a lot. I feel more calm with a list of things to work on. I need to remember that about myself. I like sollutions, I like things I can do something about, that's part of the reason the MS thing is frustrating. Lack of control on my part, I...

Thanks for your reply. I don't want to tell him because it won't change anything, there's nothing to change, there's nothing to be done about it. I'm just feeling bad now but I'll get over it. If I tell him then he'll worry and he's had enough to worry about lately. I think he knows something is up,...
