advocate email isn't working (or at least i can't make it work!), so it's probabily better to PM an advocate for now!

hi admins and mods! is there someone already assigned to starting birthday threads? i can't find info about it anywhere... if not, i would like to volunteer to give something back to bus. i'm online just about every day, and i think i can input birthdays into my email so it alerts me when a birthday...

i went to a therapy 'initial meeting' last week.... i'm not sure how much it will help. she said i was already past the stage of cbt because i already don't self-harm any more, and i know my thinking is 'wrong', and it'd be a lot of hard work for not much gain... she wants me to have a psychodynamic...

i think it all goes round in circles... (having been a 'goth' when goths were the subject of such discussions!) do people cut themselves because they are into the emo scene? or are they into the emo scene because they are depressed? i'd favor the later explaination. i always wore black and listened ...
