Well. . . quit it, then! (not you)

Maybe I need to be nicer to the computer (or to the board?). Sure would like to know what's behind door number 2!

Anybody?

Technical problems getting the best of me

Hi, You all are doing such a fantastic job! Thank you for all the obvious work you put into keeping this board running smoothly. You are very much appreciated! Now, as for running smoothly. . .I've been having a few problems for awhile that I can't find help for (nor can fix) in any of the posts. 1....

wow--thank you, Limestone. You've given me some good next step, problem-solving questions to go for. :) Where I am now is in a place of vulnerability. I'm about to bite my husband's head off with all his hints for sexual gratification. (Knowing that he's going to be hinting puts me on edge.) The LAS...

I'm afraid to even mention the urge to SI. . .

It's been well over a year since I stopped cutting. So much has changed. In some ways I feel healthier than ever before. I know I'm happier - most of the time. You know that heavy, suffocating feeling that comes with feeling depressed? It's been back lately, and I'm not sure why. I've had some physi...

not allowing my sign on name and password to be remembered

every time I sign on, I click the box that says "remember my password for future" It never does. Is there a trick to it?

Thanks,

I tried to "fix" my ingrown nail. :( I know I can take ibuprofen but I never think of taking something until someone reminds me I can. Silly? :D

This Board’s too big-I keep getting lost & I have a head

Yep, I have a headache, my eyes hurt, my big toe is infected, blah-blah-blah, blah-blah. This one’s all about me! I’ve PM’d the admin several times about how to do some things I’m having trouble with and I don’t think they’ve answered. Chances are I sent the PMs incorrectly, because I’m struggling w...

I tend to pull inside and go where I can't feel anything outside me. My son was recently in a motor vehicle accident and got a concussion. When I got the call, it was shortly after 3 am. I quickly stuffed all my feelings deep inside me so I could concentrate on helping my husband hysterical daughter...

I did various things as a young child, always feeling like I needed to be punished. The cutting started almost 10 years ago, and now I'm 56 years old. I discovered I generally cut for two reasons:
1. to numb the inside pain
2. to punish myself for being so "guilty"

For me, the DID is a coping mechanism. Different people inside me handle different situations without me losing time. I've been able to make it to this point in my life because of them. It's a creative way of handling things too difficult to face otherwise. I tried to tell my T and he told me there ...

Ah, I like this thread, too.
For me, the best and most simple things in my life are:

-coffee
-my kittie
-walking barefoot
-going out to the country to get away from the crowds
-dreams
-reading a good book
-being alone
-my kids: the best!
