So many thanks to everyone for such inspiring answers. I especially like the approach - one day at a time. I found that it helps. No matter what happens tommorow, today is what matters rather than trying to make a month (it just seems so long and impossible). If I can make it through this day, I'll ...

will I be able to stay away from SI for 1 month?

I know it is silly to ask you this question as only I know the answer... damn, even I don't know it, to be honest. I just wanted to get some reassurance from someboy. as I don't believe in myself anymore. I have never been able to stay free for more than 1 week. I hate myself sometimes so much for n...

my tip-maybe it will come in useful

I realized not so long time ago, that there is one thing, which always helps me when I feel need to SI. I paint my nails and my toenails in nice bright red color. it takes some practice at first, but you learn as you go. thing is - I get so into this process and at the end my nails are so pretty tha...

how did you get rid of scars?

hi, I am ready to start a battle once again (maybe the problem is I have lost belief that I will ever be able to win it), but this time I really need an advice on scars - what to do with them, so they are less noticeable and visible? I have mine on places, where they are really visible, so I need to...

I could say that it is both physically and mentally addictive. Ive learned that what makes you stop is when you madly fall in love. I guess that feeling produces something in your body too, so you dont need to cut. the sad part is, falling in love doesnt last forever. once you know that person bette...

feature, which is counting days since SI free

Hi, I have noticed that some of you have feature attached to your signature, which shows up in every post, counting days, months and years since SI free. Wanted to know, where do you get this feature (I think such a visualisation would help me in dealing with SI) and how do you attach it to your sig...

this is maybe not really what is meant, BUT - it is very important point it is called - IT'S NEVER TO LATE TO STOP because for me, when I start, I usually don't stop until my condition is very bad. so I'm trying now to follow my own rule - stop, when the damage is not so big yet. I mean, the same mo...
