One thing I've noticed is that the members-only boards aren't really documented as existing outside of the Before You Post forum. There's a lot there to take in - by the time someone might actually want to have a debate/ask about health/whatnot, they might not remember that a board exists for that f...

When you look at a thread, any posts you've made will have an Edit button beside the Quote button. It'll probably be at the top right of your post.

Hope that helps! :)

I definitely think I can make positive changes in my life. I can't change everything, of course, but I can always make changes to *something*. The capability to do it is always there (even if sometimes I forget ).

Right now, I need to study more to get what I want. Yick. :-?

This isn't something I highly recommend, and I try to avoid using it unless I feel I must for some reason... But I will often look for things online that I know push my buttons. Things that make me mad (political ranting forums are great for that) or things that would normally make me cry (angst fan...

I keep postcards and cards that my friends have sent me in mine. When they arrived in the mail, I felt cared for and extremely special to my friends, so when I look at the postcards, I remember those feelings and it's helpful. I have also printed off emails or bits of chat logs that have been especi...

I agree it's a great idea. I'm switchng my orange bracelet for one with three shades of orange thread and a white strand. I'm quite ready to go half-and-half with orange and white, so this will be good for me - once I get some white thread! I have been wearing an embroidery floss friendship bracelet...

I find more that my sleep affects my depression, not the other way around. The less I sleep, the more depressed I'm likely to feel. I've started being very careful about my sleep patterns, and the more I do that, the more I'm capable of handling my depression and not spinning out of control with it.

I wish my parents would want to come to my grad ceremonies with me. I wish they weren't so negative about my university choices. I wish my gramps didn't think I was trying to disgrace him with my choice of major. I wish I didn't have to look for a summer job two months after the university and colle...

Lots of dollar stores around here are selling little stuffies on keychains - just the right size to hold in one palm and squeeze for comfort. If you feel silly carrying a real teddy, you could always try one of those. Keychains seem to be practically a fashion statement now. :) I have a plastic cow ...
