Re: Things Left Unsaid - Version 3.0 *Language*

The world may not revolve around me, but it does include me. I have a right to feel down, and I've never tried to drag you into it. If I don't want to talk, don't make me. I don't make you the enemy intentionally, if I do at all. I don't even know what the hell that's supposed to mean anyway. What, ...

Mommy, make me some Instant Breakfast again like you used to, back when I was small and I stopped eating. Notice that I stopped, and ask why. See my arms, before I have to tell you. See my legs. Look into my eyes. See something that tell you I'm not okay, and hug and cuddle me the way that you used ...

Re: After :(

Thanks, L. I hope you don't mind my calling you that. Your entire screen name is kinda long, so... It seems like you always pop up right where I need you. I'm sorry to say, that despite my continued efforts, or perhaps because of them, I am not feeling better in the least. :( I think I'm going to he...

Feel free to add on if you feel like it.

I posted this as something I wanted to share with everyone. I would love if people posted personal things they need to remember.

Before *slightly graphic*

Before You Self-Harm write down the shadow that's hiding behind the urge. look at it. ask yourself: how will this situation or feeling change if i hurt myself? I'll feel less jittery and manic and go back to where I was before. Plus a bleeding appendage, but it's better than feeling like this. what...

Things I have to remember

Things I have to remember: I am an important person. Even more importantly than that, what I have to say is important. I have friends who are willing to help me; even if it feels like what they're doing is wrapping me up in cotton wool, it is with the best intentions. My friends need time to themse...

Re: I'm proud of myself today because....

I'm proud of myself because I walked away from a situation that could have escalated, I helped the environment (and my pocket) by recycling bottles and cans, I cut up a paper plate instead of myself, and I can still do an excellent arabesque even though it's been years since I was in ballet.

DON'T MAKE ME PROMISE SOMETHING LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN, BECAUSE YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THAT I COULDN'T KEEP IT. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE ME PROMISE ON *YOUR* LIFE?? YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THAT I LOVE YOU. DO YOU HAVE ANY FUCKING IDEA HOW GUILTY THAT MAKES ME FEEL? I *told* you. You didn't ...

Re: Things Left Unsaid - Version 3.0 *Language*

I know you probably don't care, but I like you a lot more tham I ever intended to. I know you like me, but I'm having a hard time, deciding whether you like me for me, or just for my body. I can't pretend that what happened last time never happened. I wish I could, but even if I did, it would probab...

Re: Hiding scars

In a pinch, I use cover-up, although it's not great if you go places with strong lighting. I use cocoa butter to make the big scars go away. It takes a while, but it works. I also buy elbow-length gloves. They suit my style, and they're good for covering the scars on my wrists.

Re: Scarily VAST list of coping strategies

Whoa... That is scarily vast.

I have one to add. Sometimes it helps me if I stomp up and down stairs for a while, and I mean really stomp. I imagine that I'm stomping on whatever's causing me to feel that way, and it makes me feel a lot better.
