fair play. I'm probs not here often enough to warrant having an opinion on this, but I actually like the Sub Black (and white) as it is now. Just think the admins should be green...or something....
still, beggers not being choosers and all...

Sub Black and adminy people
Using the Sub Black theme, has anybody else noticed that admins' names are in black font on the 'Who Is Online' bit; and that on the black background of Sub Black, they don't show up at all (and people like me get confused regarding the apparent "space" in the names list) any idea if there is a reme...

You can check the maximum memory size your php scripts can use by following this knowledgebase article, and look...

cmoputer hardware
I just brought up the idea of getting a larger hard drive for our existing home PC. This thing is laughably archaic (the running joke with a friend is that it was used to map out stonehenge before building commenced  ), although it was at least halfway decent in 1998. anyways to get to the poi...

Networks, anybody?
can anybody give me a step-by-step guide on how to set up 2 computers to allow internet access on both, using one external modem? I know (I think) there's some networking involved there somewhere, but I never did understand networks

when somebody replies, and it is logged as a post, and then that reply is deleted, be it by the author or a moderator, the number of replies stays the same, but there will actually be one less 'post' in the thread. That's why it usually happens on a new page of a long thread. Hope that makes sense. ...

I think they answer is alot simpler than you think... it's dependent on your avatar needing a given amount of space. Therefore it depends how long your post is. If you imagine a 1 line post, and then stick your avatar next to it, in terms of size, the avatar takes up more room. If you take a 20 line...

ok so this is more positive than negative, but it's still things I don't want to say to people's faces (for the most part cos I know they wouldn't appreciate me saying it...) Gra: I know you don't know, but you have the sense to understand that you don't. Cheers mate :) Megs: Don't fucking tell me I...
