Before (kharre's questions)

cross posted to my place..... ____________________________________________ kharre's questions: Why do I feel I need to hurt myself? What has brought me to this point? I've been feeling urges to hurt myself because I'm angry at myself for things that don't make sense. I'm mad because my mom isn't the...

Situation: I'm sick and feeling rather sad and fragile. My sinus infection is getting better, but my sore throat isn't. I'm horrible at taking care of myself and I'm frusterated with that. On top of that I'm feeling very sad and very fragile...I had a rough therapy session last monday...and monday i...

because I knew I stronger than to just give in. I knew giving in would only cause me more upset and anger at myself. Plus I've made so long without SI that I didn't want break my record of how far I've made it - getting close to 8 months SI free.

My thing is, yes, I'm 21....but create another board and it just makes my issue worse...I've had ECT twice...and at times I debate having it again and these posts end up on main... well just the mention of ECT sends people running from your post without replying because they simply cannot relate. An...

I have my stuffed lion that my pdoc/T gave me when I was going through a really hard time. It's very, very important to me. I have a journal that prox gave to me. The beginning of it is filled with quotes all over the first few pages. It means so much to me. I go back and look the first few pages wh...

Comfort

A dear friend of mine needs me to be there for her, as she's unable to provide comfort for me right now...she's going through a hard time. However, I'm having a hard time and I've done all I possibly can to comfort myself....my family isn't really there...and those I've asked for comfort, don't seem...

I've changed over to quidditch as my theme....it's a touch easier on my eyes....but the purple and yellow, yikes. A more toned down color and/or bigger font would be nice. One or the other. Like the lighter purple is totally cool....my eyes just cannot take stark differences. They are very, very sen...

I personally have to say I agree about more themes....we need another dark one. There are so many light ones and not enough dark ones. My vision is very screwed up due to medications I take and the dark colors are easier on my eyes... Dark Sky was perfect. With sub black- it's now got all the white ...

you can find sights on the internet that sell really cool arm warmers if you just do a search and take the time to browse through sites. Leg warmers can also be used as arm warmers without a thumb hole, or you can make a thumb hole... or if your scars are limited to just the wrist area, you can by s...

Need help with self soothing

Anyone have some ideas for self soothing. I tried to talk with my pdoc about it today, but we honestly didn't get anywhere. She basically told me to pull up happy memories. And I just need something so much more structured than that. That's too free for me...and a lot of my happy memories lead up to...

After 6 months I slipped

1. have you taken care of your physiacl wounds? if not, go do that now. we'll wait. All my wounds are clean and well taken care of. 2. what had happened just before? I was home with my care taker. I sat down and tried to talk to her about the urges, but she paid no attention to me or what I was say...

I didn't because I've quit SI and I don't want to go back to using it as a way to cope. I know I can get by using healthier ways to cope. Plus, I want to stand up the evil pdoc who once told me I'd never quit SIing.
