Re: Secrets and more (please stay safe)

What is your secret? I have so much unnecessary hurt that I don't know what to do with. Why is it a secret? I bring all of it upon myself. If I had a better mindset my life would be normal. What are your feelings about this secret? Hopeless, disgusted, sad. Why are you telling this secret now? It's ...

I NEED new coping mechanisms :(

My roommates saw my scars and are now staring at my arms every second. School is so stressful. I want to SI really really badly. But if I SI, I'll start binge drinking. If I start binge drinking I'll lose sight of school and fail. Arrrgh. I desperately need some; newly away from home, at a huge stre...

Coping with flight anxiety?

I tend to be a fairly anxious person at times, and flying on airplanes freaks me out to no end. I have no idea why, becuase most of the time I have a death wish - but as soon as I set foot on a plane my flight usually ends in tears and a neverending panic attack. I fly so infrequently that I've been...

Post your favorite recipes!

So maybe this is a stupid idea but lately one of my new coping skills has been cooking-well, trying to atleast . I thought it might be a cool idea if people posted their favorite recipes.

I wish I had something real to complain about. I wish I could be good at something, even if it got me nowhere. I wish my parents hated me so I could hate them back. I wish I was dead but I'm just as afraid of dying. I wish I never started cutting. I wish I was pretty. I wish I wasn't fat. I wish I d...

Hmm some books I've enjoyed

Sabriel by Garth Nix (great fantasy to get lost in, a good trilogy)
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
Angela's Ashes (extremely depressing but a good read)
Harry Potter, one of my all time favorite series to get absolutely lost in (sorry, couldn't leave it out :D)

Have you taken care of your physical wounds? if not, go do that now. we'll wait. --Yes. What had happened just before? --For the second time today someone told me that I have almost no friends and then proceeded to give me the same bullshit line about, Oh, but the one friend that you do have really ...

Relief *SI* Pointless Post

I just thought I would share becuase I haven't felt this way in a long time. I'll try to keep it short :) Today, after mowing the lawn I was hot, exhausted, and planning on going inside and cutting. Then it started raining--pouring. I went to the front yard and took off my sweatshirt (covering the s...

I started cutting just over a year ago. When I was younger I used to hit and punch myself when I was upset, it didn't strike me until after I started seriously SIing that it was early signs of self abuse. When I was 14 I read something about cutting and it absolutely horrified and frightened me. Aft...

Covering the marks.

So I know this question has probably been asked millions of times but I'm sort of new to the board and just looking for any input. I have a wedding to go to soon and I'm wearing a dress that shows my arms. Does anyone have any good hiding techniques for scabs and scars? I have a lot of scars on my a...
