I do pilates, which is a stretching excercize similar to yoga. I found that it really reduces my stress levels.

I write lists about things like music and movies and it has a calming affect on me.

Be aware that you're getting depressed when it starts so that you can prevent things from getting worse.

The negative side is though, that your friends can also hurt you more than anyone.

I was having an IM conversation with someone and he made some offhand remark about me being depressed as a way of "getting affection and attention" (not true btw on both counts, people treated me the opposite) and I mentioned that a mutual aquaintence of ours pretended to be depressed(seriously...) ...

The thing is this guy was once burt bad by a cyber friendship so I didn't think he'd turn around and do it to me to.

I made cyberfriends with someone almost 2 years ago and we got really close I though. He recently told me that he doesn't care about me, while I care about him DEEPLY.

I feel so hurt and alone.

RickTheTwinkie is right you need to fill your life up with other things.

Since losing my cyber friends I've taken up runnng again, I have movie-marathons every weekend and stuff like that. I just try to stay busy so I don't feel so depressed.

I know how you feel.

The thing is I've notlet love and affection in when it WAS offered to me and then later when I finally felt ready to, the person who wanted to give it had moved on.

So accept love.

I don't think you ever "get over" things I think you deal with them and move on.

Right now I'm trying to deal too and it's hard.
