It happened again. I was already pretty low. It didn't help.

It happened again. This time for about 24 hours. The message said

"You have been banned from this forum.
Please contact the webmaster or board administrator for more information."

Anything I can do to stop it?

I think it said something like (sorry, should have made a note) "You have been banned from accessing this forum."

I've had no problems since, so maybe it was just a one off thing.

When I tried to log on a few hours ago it wouldn't let me access the board. Saying I was banned. Any idea what's going on? As I'm obviously not banned. Because I can now post.

I disagree. Relationships, even a good one brings with it its own problems. And what happens when/if it ends?

A relationship can make things worse, not better. I think a good friend is much better for coping then a b/f or g/f.
