Hi :-)

I'm proud of myself today because I cleaned
the kitchen and went to the grocery store even
though I was really angry and in a bad mood
and did not feel like helping myself at all.(grrr)

What are you proud of yourself for doing
today?

Oh wow, um...I'm proud of myself for...getting my A.P. Lit homework done, working on my cross stitch, not doing horrible on my A.P. Psych test...

Disastercake, thanks for playing :P

Tonight I am feeling proud of myself
because I left a lengthy post in response
to someone's upset post, only to realize
afterward that I was meeting my own
need there instead of hers. I felt really
bad, but I resisted the urge to get rid
of the post, and instead decided it
was something I can use as an
example to practice DBT on.

Hi,

I was just reading these and felt like I
wanted to say "Good job!" or "Good for
you!" How bout if we alter this a little bit
to say a quick word of affirmation to
the person above, and then say what
we are proud of ourselves for? Because
these are all awesome. Good job, every-
one!

Good work balletomane!

Today I'm proud I talked to the managers at work about an order problem rather than just letting it eat at me.

Good job speaking up! That was brave. :D

Wargasm - Good job keeping your committment
to yourself! :D

I am proud of myself today because I felt shitty
when I woke up and anxious, and I didn't want
to do anything so I used some DBT skills I'm
learning to get myself going.

good job Collide! Sounds like you had a full day!

I am proud of myself today because I got some studying done and because I did not cry or SI.
I am also proud of myself because I did not put myself in a situation where I know I would feel utterly rejected and alone and would lead to me wanting to SI.

Awesome job, Kakalina! That's huge!!! :osmile: :Fade-color :D

I am proud of myself today because I made some plans for Halloween with my son today, instead of just avoiding the subject until the last minute. We have had so many upsetting and sad holidays because I avoid them and then freak out at the last minute. I didn't do that this time! :1dance: : : :
