SI-free Badges

Post by friarygirl » Fri Jan 28, 2005 4:42 am

SI free badges are brilliant - incentive, reward, validation, public announcement.

BUT - how about some for less than a week???? In other words, in days?? It's an enormous achievement for very many ppl.

I KNOW on a recovery-oriented place, it might not sound much to be SI-free for a day or two, but if you've really been going through the mill recently, and if it's been as much of an effort to stay SI-free for 2 days as it is for some to be 2 weeks SI-free - well, how can we get the "medals" for that? Which are hugely deserved....

I've been told some ppl make their own - but we're not all good at pcs - I've posted this before, just desperate for somebody to give me (a) an answer about making your own; (b) an easy-peasy downloadable one???

Also, some people have been using stars to show their SI-free time. Eg you can show the past week with :star: for no SI and :blkstar: for days on which you SIed.

:star: :blkstar: :star: :star: :blkstar: :blkstar: :star:

You use the same codes as you would for a message. Basically...

Code: Select all

If you want an orange start in your message here, you'd type :star: so in your signature you just type :star:
And :star: will appear in your message.
