I'm proud of myself for telling B about my mental health struggles. And I'm happy that she didn't run away, yet.

I didn't have a complete meltdown when I realized that I am going to run out of meds in a couple of days and I can't get to my provider.

I walked down the utility isle at the store today and stared at the razor blades, but didn't buy them.

I told someone about my recent struggles with SI/SU. I am going to tell someone else before the day is over.

I was feeling depressed again today (mental health stuff has taken something of a slump lately) but instead of SI-ing or buying something that could be unhealthily/harmfully used, I ordered a pasta-making machine and citrus zester to add to my glory box. :D

And the pasta machine was like half price! :disco:

I'm proud to be part of such a great community here on BUS.

I'm proud I was brave enough to initiate hugs this weekend.

I calmed myself down from feeling panicky and flustered this morning/early afternoon when public transport dramas and my mother being nasty about my being out getting a tattoo done.

I did so much better at today's Insanity exercise workout compared to the first time I did it.

... I have a job that actually excites me, because it does good in the world, and because I'm good at it. I'm proud of my silly little corner of the world with it's tiny garden that I've worked so hard on, and my stripey fluffy thing that meows a lot, and the love of my life, who isn't that great at doing housework on time, but really, really loves me anyway. I'm proud that my job in the disability sector, means I no longer feel naked if I wear sleeves that stop at my elbows (one day I'll get to the shoulders, slowly), and a job in which I can ring up and say, I am in a world of depression and pain and cannot come to work today because I can't move, and my boss understands this.

And I still manage to keep all my freelance and volunteer work happening in the meantime.

It's amazing how far you can come in 6 months.

I'm proud of myself because I am choosing to use my coping skills rather than cutting.

I'm proud of myself because I said no to an invite to something that would have stressed me.

I'm proud of myself because I told someone how I'm feeling lately.
