Utterly miserable. Feel like the world is ending anyway.

Very VERY angry right now. I just bought a new Brissel Powerforce Compact bagless vacuum yesterday and I have problems with it ALREADY and I HAVEN'T even plugged it in yet! My filter cur refuses to lock in place and be sturdy. I am still able to lift it up and off the vacuum no matter what I do! And the dirt cup won't go in evenly and I keep getting a HUGE opening about two inches vertically! And custmomer service was no help after I wasted a half an hour on the phone with them! I only took the stupid cups out so I would know how to empty and replace them while they were clean and not all dirty and dusty. Is THAT so wrong to do? Apparentally it is because I wasted about two hours on this thing for it not to be the way it should! And I have an inspection today and my apartment needs vacuumed! I better not be penalized by the landlord because my old vacuum basically has no more life to it and my NEW one won't even co-operate with me! Also wasted ANOTHER half hour just now before I came here trying to find videos that could possibly help me with no luck!
