Re: Staying logged in

Hm.. I took a quick look in the admin panel, but couldn't see anything hinky there, though that doesn't say much. Have you tried emptying cache, temporary files and all that? Can you describe some more exactly when it happens and what actually happens? Is it all browsers, is it any particular forum(...

Could I have my name changed again? I apologize if it's a bother.

I'd like to be StarChild, if it's not taken :)
No bother at all! Done :)

Re: Pm to newbies.

cause they seem weird regarding the things they wrote under gender (PQ/TF/DQ/XW/VZ/SU...). I still can write them a welcome pm cause they haven't posted any spam yet but wanted to hear other's opinions before. Odd genders are often a flag, so good call not to PM. Garfield is the only one I’m not su...

Re: Access Issues

busboard.com is down - she might have been using the busboard domain to access bus instead of buslist.org ? If so, ask her to update her links and bookmarks. Also remind her (and you and everyone! :) ) that the address to contact the admins, if anyone needs to, is bodiesundersiege@gmail.com I'm very...

Re: Busmail?

Deb is aware of the problem with buslist.org as well. I don't know what the solution will be. I can only ask that you e-mail deb about it (I'm sorry you didn't get a response, darkestelf). If there is anything the admins can do, we'll do it, but for now we can't. I'm sorry to have to say that.

Re: Busmail?

This is something that only the owner of the domain can fix. Deb has been informed that it's down, but the staff don't know what else will happen, although we hope it will be resolved. From what I understand at least, no e-mails/content has been deleted/removed, so there should be a technical possib...

How do you access bus? (new poll)

I'm redoing this poll because I screwed up the last one a bit :) I've merged the replies on the other post - those of who you voted already, please vote again (and sorry for the hassle!). We want to find out a little more about how you access bus, how you feel about the different options for accessi...

Re: Do you access BUS on your phone/tablet?

sar, I remember I deliberately didn't put that option, but I have to admit I don't remember why anymore, I'm sure I had a good thought somewhere! :D It's not a poll that will demand any kind of scientific stuff, it's curiosity along with trying to figure out how to meet people's needs, especially wh...

Re: get to know the board staff

Shamefully, I haven't had an updated bios here for a long time  I'm in my 30s and live alone in an apartment in a pretty lively neighbourhood. There are a lot of kids playing in the yard outside my house so it's never really quiet here. Which can be both good and bad, sometimes I really crave...

Re: please read - overwhelming feelings regarding school

I just thought of something regarding motivation: If you have a smartphone, there's an app called Forest. You set a timer for 30 (or more) minutes, hit start and the app starts to plant a tree. If you cancel the app to use your phone for something else (you can set certain exceptions, like alarms et...

Rambling is totally fine, I think we all do to some extent. If it helps to distract you, even better! Welcome to bus by the way :moo: :moo: :moo: A suggestion is to post in the introduction thread on main, you might get more replies there - the coping forum is a bit slow these days, although I hope ...

Re: Inspiration to fight the good fight

I really loved reading that, thank you! I especially liked this bit, I hadn't considered that before but it's a great suggestion and an awesome coping idea: Take out a sheet of paper and write down the date you last hurt yourself. Then tally up the number of days it’s been since then. Somehow, it me...

They did, I got through without injuring and I am doing a lot better now. :) Awesome, well done! It seems like you're already well aware of this, but it might help someone else; when you're in a really bad situation, with depression/anxiety/urges to hurt yourself, it's easy to convince yourself tha...
