I noticed I'd posted some reasons last year, before I managed to stop (?) SI. They were: - Because it hurts the morning after (yes and thats a reason I do it too) - Because what right have I to treat my body this way - Because I don't want future people ie at college/work to wonder why I have scars ...

Cuddle my dog. She always makes me feel loved, and also reminds me that I have a reason to live.

Hey Kymmy, just to let you know that I read and I care. Sorry to hear things ain't going great - I know the feeling of trying to act like you're fine when you're anything but. Please just remember you're always free to come here and rant, we don't mind listening if you feel crap. ((((((((hugs)))))))...

I guess I'd say if you want to stop/control your si, and you think professional help might be of some use, then go for it.

For me, its not really an option, as my parents don't know I si and it would be hard to get any professional help without them finding out.

Take care

Without wanting to be negative, there's not a huge amount you can do to make her stop. If you tell her to stop the likelihood is that she'll just do it somewhere you can't see it. So my suggestion would be to point out that its probably not the best thing to copy her friends in, but don't have a go ...

I dunno really. I guess: - Because it hurts the morning after (yes and thats a reason I do it too) - Because what right have I to treat my body this way - Because I don't want future people ie at college/work to wonder why I have scars - Because I've come too close to getting caught, and it would be...
